If you've recently started doing business with The Fulcrum Group (or even if you're not and have heard us make reference to any of the below terms),we've put together a "cheat sheet" on some of the terms that are important to us. Check it out!
Preparing for Return To Work Return to work Here at Fulcrum Group we have been discussing the “return to work” plan for our team, and as a management team decided that we want to remain flexible with our team and not yet ask everyone to come into the office yet.  We are concerned about everyone’s safety, and there’s a possibility that any return to work scenario might get reversed by the government anyways. As you plan for return to work for your organization, there are a number of things you want to plan for…
  • Follow CDC & OSHA guidance on preparing workplaces for bringing back employees.
  • Strictly follow a schedule for work environment cleaning and disinfecting.
  • Consider how you can restructure your work areas to enforce social distance; limit the number of people in certain spaces like conference rooms & kitchens/breakrooms.
  • Provide employees with Personal Protective Equipment for both in-office and any work that they may perform on-site at client workplaces. Make sure employees follow rules around cleaning & social distancing, and consider requiring masks.
  • Establish rules for allowing employees to come into the office (not sick, no temperature above 99.5%, etc.).
  • Establish stay at home/quarantine rules for employees who have tested positive or suspect they have Covid-19.
  • Be mindful of HIPAA rules and regulations regarding employees’ health information.
  • Eliminate large conference room meetings (use Microsoft Teams or other online meeting tools).
  • Phase in employees’ return to work, and consider allowing employees to work from home on at least a part-time basis going forward; be flexible on an individual basis.
  • Most meetings should continue to be held via MS Teams, even if in the office.
  • No shaking hands, hugs, or other physical touching.
  • Limit guests and other 3rd parties from entering your offices; considering keeping your doors locked.
  • Use signage to communicate policies inside your office.
Let us know if we can help you with planning for return to work under these “new normal” circumstances.
